Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is another ‘new to me’ brand. This polish was a part of the “Road To Polish Con” series leading up to the Polish Con convention that just took place in New York. I may have been unfamiliar with this brand, but this polish has caused me to take notice! You can find this brand HERE. I am not affiliated.
Pixie Poison is a barely there blue tinted base with super sparkly blue and green micro glitter. This is a true glitter bomb and I’m loving it! There is so much depth and sparkle here. Formula was beyond excellent! I was worried after applying the first coat, it looked uneven and patchy. I even dug out a sponge thinking I was going to have to sponge on the second coat but I tried painting it on and there was nothing to have been worried about. The second coat covered all the imperfections completely and perfectly! I did add extra polish to the tips of my nails and lightly spread a third coat just to get rid of the bump at my nail tip. I think two coats would be plenty. Once applied, the base color appears to be a mix between cobalt and a bright navy. It is just so, so sparkly! It dries to a very slight texture. Not nearly as textured as I would have thought given the amount of glitter. It also dries a little bit dull. Two coats of a glossy topcoat smoothed it out and shined it up beautifully! I love it!!
