Hi everyone! We have family visiting from out of town so I’ve been working on this post for about 3 days now. This manicure is from Ethereal Lacquer. She took a hiatus for a couple years, but she is back and I am so happy I get to enjoy her pretty creations! You can find her store HERE. It would be best to follow her on Instagram or join her Facebook page to get the updates on when she has a restock. I am not affiliated, just a fan!
Whimsy was described by the maker as, “An opaque shimmer polish with shimmer that shifts from teal, aqua and violet”. I wrote in my notes that it was a gray base with a strong green (or blue) shimmer. Sometimes the base will look like a taupey gray and sometimes it looks more like a blue gray. The shimmer always shows up though! I personally did not see a violet shift in the shimmer. The formula was good. It was a little runny but manageable. I used three coats plus topcoat for this manicure.

I love my bird fountain and so do the birds! The two on the top are fake birds, but the 5 around the bottom are all real!
Well, there we have it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
The polish in this post is from my own collection and was purchased by me.
