Hi everyone! Today I have the two polishes Different Dimension came out with recently for their 6th Anniversary! I have been a customer of theirs for the whole 6 years too! I’ll post below the first two polishes I bought from this brand back in 2012.

I’ll start off with the first two Different Dimension polishes I bought from their Etsy store way back in 2012…
The two anniversary polishes are both magnetic polishes! You will receive a magnet with your order too which is really nice!
Party Like it’s 2012 is described as, “a darkened teal ultra-chameleon magnetic, linear holographic polish with added ucc flakies”. How I saw it as I was applying it was a gray base with tons of teal shimmer, lots of linear holo and some color changing flakes.
This had an excellent formula! I really like the DD brushes too! This glides on smooth and easy. It dries smooth, those flakies lay flat and only one coat of topcoat is needed.
It also looks great either with or without the magnet. For this one I used an arc magnet I bought from Lantern & Wren, NOT the one that is included with your purchase from Different Dimension. This has a little bit of a more subtle magnetic line. You can still see it but it’s not the center of attention.
My photos for this one are 2 coats with topcoat. My middle finger shows the polish all on it’s own, no magnet was used on that nail.

Party Up is the second polish of this anniversary duo. (You don’t have to buy the duo, they are sold individually.) It is described as, “a violet ultra-chameleon magnetic polish with added color-shifting flakies”. I wrote that it is a deep purple base with navy to purple to fuchsia to an almost burgundy color shifting magnetic shimmer and color shifting flakies. This also had a great formula! It applied smooth and easy and dried smooth. I wore this one for three days before I took my photos!
You can also wear this one without using a magnet. If you don’t magnetize it you will have the color shifting shimmer over the whole nail. If you do magnetize it, the color shifting shimmer is attracted to the magnet and you are left with the dark purple base and flakies and the shimmer will be in a line or arc or whatever shape of magnet you use. For this one I did use the bar magnet that Different Dimension included with my order.
For this mani I used 2 coats with topcoat. On my middle finger I did not use a magnet at all so you can see the polish un-magnetized also.
