Hi everyone! Today’s mani is from 1850 Artisan Polish. If you want your nail mail to get to you quickly, this is the brand to order from. It was shipped the same day I ordered (within minutes actually) and I had it in my hands within two business days of ordering!! I do live close to the maker, maybe two hours away, but still, that is great service! Plus, you can just tell she loves her work and her brand, the packages are packed with care and attention to detail and she hand writes a thank you note on your packing slip. Plus, I met Nikki at The Indie Shop earlier this year and she is the sweetest person ever!

This polish comes from the newest collection from 1850 Artisan Polish, The 13th Doctor. Would You Be My New Best Friends? is described as, “Copper shimmer and aurora pigments throughout a blurple base with coordinating flakies make this polish a glowing, shimmering masterpiece”. As I was applying it I wrote that it was a grape purple base with strong pink shimmer and flakies. There is also a lot of color shifting that goes on.
This has an excellent formula! The first coat glides on smooth and easy. It’s a little sheer but there are no streaks and no pooling into the cuticles. The flakies come out and distribute perfectly and they lay perfectly flat. She doesn’t have a real wide brush, but it is really nice. It applies the polish wonderfully and it’s flexible which is important. I also love her bottles. They are very modern looking in my opinion. This is a winner and I love it!
