Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is from the Polish Pickup last month. The theme was Musicals and this Chaotic Glitz polish was based on the animated movie Coco. I haven’t seen that movie, but if it comes on TV I will definitely watch it!
If you are unfamiliar with Polish Pickup, it’s a web store that opens the first weekend of each month (Friday-Monday) and there are about 70+ indie brands of polish, topcoat, etc available. These items are exclusive to that months Polish Pickup and they center on a theme that is also voted on by the customers. You can read all about it HERE. And yes, this coming weekend is the first weekend of the month so go to the website HERE and make an account and start building your wishlist for this month. The theme for September is Horror Movies! I already have 7 in my wishlist!
This was my first Chaotic Glitz polish. I love the skull label she used to go along with the movie she chose as her theme! I am not affiliated with Polish Pickup or Chaotic Glitz.

Remember Me was described as, “Jelly based thermal polish that goes from purple (cold) to colorless (warm state). Filled with neon colored matte glitters in different shapes and silver and burgundy micro holo glitter along with iridescent chameleon shifting micro glitter”. That sums it up nicely! The polish has a great formula but it’s hard to know if it’s going on even because it’s hot here still and it turned clear as soon as it hit my nails. I just put on two coats and hoped for the best. LOL!
It turned out that was perfect! The glitter comes out and distributes very easily. I did not have to fish or dab it into place. The only negative, and this will vary with your surrounding temperature and your body temperature, but a lot of times the clear was not entirely clear, it was just barely tinted and it looked almost like my nails were either super stained or just dirty. So those times I did not care for it. But when it was really clear it was a fun and interesting look! I did not get a natural french mani at all because like I said, it’s still in the mid 80’s here, so I did have to force the transitions with water. A couple of the first photos below was natural. I had just taken a drink of cold water and the glass must have caused to polish to change. So when I saw that I grabbed the camera really quick and got a couple shots of it.

Inside without flash…

Inside my bright kitchen, showing off the clear look, then forcing the color change with water. Towards the end of this group of photos you’ll see one where my nails look stained. That is how it would look sometimes based on my body temperature and the surrounding temperature. Mostly it would get to clear because I’m always hot, but sometimes it would look just like that…

Further inside my kitchen with additional flash…

Outside in direct sun…

Well, there we have it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
