Hi everyone! Happy Halloween! I can’t believe I haven’t done a single Halloween manicure this season, well until today that is.
Today I have a very new indie brand (new to me and newly in business)! Ana is the maker of What Addiction? polish and she just opened up shop this summer! Just Like That is from the summer’s debut collection called Speckle My Fancy. This is described as, “an orange, with light gold micro flakies, black hex micro glitters”. As I was applying it I wrote it was an orange base with gold flakies and shimmer and tiny black micro glitter. This had a very smooth, easy to apply first coat. There were no streaks or running in my cuticles. You do see a little visible nail line even at two coats, but I think this is a jelly or crelly base so that is to be expected. It dries super smooth and shiny! I used two coats with one coat of topcoat. Love it!
I added Bonfire Embers from the newest collection called Fall Into Autumn as an accent nail. This is described as, “Reddish brown base with orange and teal shimmers”. I wrote that it was a brown base (although I second guessed myself and thought maybe it was a plum purple base and the shimmer made it look brown), with gold (which is actually orange) and green shimmer. This one also had an excellent formula. It has a very smooth and opaque first coat. If you’re careful you could maybe get away with one coat. I added a second coat and one coat of topcoat. It dries nice and smooth and shiny. I love this one too!
I think these two polishes go really well together, especially for Halloween!!
