Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is a tribute of sorts for a wonderful internet friend who has passed away. This was a part of a limited edition Black Friday 2017 box that Baroness X Polish put out last year called Cats In Space. It was a fun box with alot of cats in space themed products. The box is long gone, but this polish is still available in her webstore HERE. It’s on it’s last batch though, so once it’s sold out, it’s gone forever. In A Galaxy Purr, Purr Away is described as, “a deep navy blue base with pink to green shifting shimmer, a rainbow of all colors of shifting iridescent flakies, violet to gold multi chrome flakies, a sprinkling of holo micro flakies and a touch of orange to green shifty micro glitter”. This polish had a great formula. It had a smooth and easy first coat. If you overwork the polish during application of that first coat you may see lifting and balding, especially at the cuticle line. Careful application will alleviate that. The second coat deepens and fills in the color. It dries nice and smooth so only one coat of topcoat is needed. I really love it!
