Hi everyone! I’ve been wearing this Ethereal Lacquer tri-thermal for a few days now. I really love it! This came in a mystery bag in December. I’ve gotten a couple of her mystery bags and have not been disappointed yet! January mystery bags are on sale now if you’re interested (January’s theme is “Celestial”). You receive four full size polishes around a theme for $30 plus shipping. It’s a great deal! You can find her website HERE. I am not affiliated.
I have a lot of photos today!!

Light of Venus is a tri-thermal polish. That means it will shift through three distinct colors depending on the surrounding temperature. It’s been cold and rainy here in California so I didn’t naturally see the hottest shift but I did force it with hot water. The hot shift is a bright pinky purple. The warm shift is a smoky grayed purple. The cold shift is a dark brown. There is also a red to green to gold shifting shimmer but it is not “unicorn pee” but rather an aurora type shimmer I think. This had an excellent formula!
Ethereal Lacquer Light Of Venus. 3 coats plus 1 coat of topcoat.
These first sets of photos are just what the polished looked like without any forcing. It was mostly in the warm state with a little cold shift at the tips.
Inside with flash. These were taken in two different areas, so lighting and skin tone may look different…

These next pictures have been forced with hot and cold water.
Index and middle forced hot and ring and pinky forced cold. These were taken outside in the shade and late day sun…

These were forced cold and the transition back to warm. These were inside with flash…
