[Press Sample] Hi everyone! Today I have the next installment of Geekish Glitter Lacquer’s Zodiac Series! This series has a dedicated polish for each sign of the Zodiac and a different glow in the dark (GITD) topper for the four corresponding Elements. Aquarius season just started and with it came the Air element.
The polishes are only available during the month of the Zodiac it’s attached to. So these two will only be available from now through February 18. However, you will see the GITD topper during all the months that are Air elements.
You can check out Geekish Glitter Lacquer at her brand new website HERE. These were sent to me to swatch and give an honest review.

The Water Bearer is inspired by the Zodiac sign Aquarius. If your birthday falls between January 20 and February 18 you are an Aquarius. Aquarius’ are ruled by the Air element. Their strengths include being original and independent. They are energetic and intellectual and love helping others. Some weaknesses include being uncompromising, temperamental and aloof, sometimes needing time alone and away from everything.
Lexi came up with The Water Bearer for the month of Aquarius and is reintroducing Air, the GITD topper. These two will only be available for the month of the Zodiac sign. So for Aquarius you can purchase them now through February 18 at geekishglitterlacquer.com.
Air is a blue glow in the dark topper.

This will be available for sale during any Zodiac sign that is an Air sign. So for Aquarius that starts on January 20, 2019 and goes until February 18, 2019 at geekishglitterlacquer.com. this sells for $7.
The Water Bearer is a dark plum purple crelly base with strong electric blue shimmer and shifting iridescent flakies. This does build up and gets deeper with each coat. It starts out as a lighter orchid purple on the first coat and builds to the deep plum color. Don’t overload the brush with polish and it will apply evenly and smoothly. It did not want to run or pool into the cuticles. I used two regular coats then floated a thin third coat on and added one coat of topcoat.
I love it! Look, it even matches my purple Fitbit band…

It looks really great, but it would be helpful to know how durable this make truly is. I haven’t found any polish that lasts as long as OPI yet.

Hi Ruth! Thanks for the comment! Since everyone’s body chemistry is different what works well for one person may not work as well for the next person. It’s really trial and testing with your chemistry. I will say that if you keep your nails in a healthy way, without peelies or dryness you will have better luck with all brands. Also finding a good base/top coat combination that works for you helps wonders!
I don’t usually keep polish on for long, but sometimes life gets busy and I find myself wearing a polish for a week or so. My nails are very healthy and I almost never get chips, no matter what brand I use.
Thanks again for checking out my post!
