Hi everyone! Sorry I haven’t been around too much lately. I’ve been trying to figure out what’s wrong with my old man Chico so we’ve had a lot of vet visits. We just found out he has a cancerous tumor in his liver so now we are deciding the course of action to take.
Anyway, I am here now with the Spring 2019 China Glaze Collection, The Arrangement. This is a beautiful collection based on flowers and flower arrangements. I love the funny/punny names they came up with. I bought this collection at PolishPick.com with a blogger discount. I am not affiliated with China Glaze.
This is a long post with alot of photos!!

I’m going to start with the first and the last polish (if going alphabetically) because they are both toppers. I added both of these to 9 of the colors from this collection so you can see them over lots of base colors. I truthfully loved both of them over all the colors! You really cannot go wrong with these! I will also show full nail photos of these with each individual color’s swatch below.
- China Glaze Better Than Nectar – In the bottle this shows a bit of a duochrome shift between pink and gold. On the nail it’s a shimmery fleck that does seem to be mostly pink and gold. The formula was excellent! I don’t think you’d want to wear this on it’s own. It can look pretty at some angles as a sheer wash of color and shimmer but at other angles on it’s own it looks like I’ve been smoking for 50 years and my nails are discolored. Not a good look! But it is gorgeous layered over so many base colors! I surprised myself using this over the blues of the collection, it took on a copper look. Those were some of my favorites! This is shown on my index finger.
- China Glaze Wildflower Hour – This is a clear based glitter topper. It looks in the bottle like silver and pink flakes and some micro holo glitter. It also has a great formula. It comes out easily without a lot of the clear base. It just brushed on, I did not have to maneuver or over work the polish. I really liked this over most of the base colors from this collection too! This is shown on my middle nail.

- China Glaze Good As Marigold – This is a bright orange cream/crelly. This has a smooth and easy formula. It does not streak or run into the cuticles. It will dry shiny. I used 2 coats plus topcoat.

Here it is with Better Than Nectar (index), Wildflower Hour (middle), Matte topcoat (ring) and left glossy (pinky)…

- China Glaze Hydangea Dangea – I think they spelled this one wrong. It should have been Hydrangea Dangea. Either way, I love this name! This is a baby blue with sparse silver shimmer. The first coat was a little patchy but the second coat covered and smoothed it out nicely. The shimmer didn’t show on the nail in normal indoor lighting. I used 2 coats plus topcoat.

- China Glaze I Still Beleaf – This is a silvery foliage green shimmery foil. It has a nice, opaque first coat. I added a second coat but one coat may be enough. Formula was great. Don’t overload the brush with polish or you may get some pooling into the cuticles. I used 2 coats without topcoat.

- China Glaze Lavenduh! – This is a light lavender crelly with subtle silver shimmer. This has a smooth and even application, there was no running or pooling into the cuticles. The sparkle is not seen on the nail in normal indoor lighting. I used 2 smooth coats plus topcoat.

- China Glaze Saved By The Bluebell – This is a deep teal blue jelly. This one was runny. It ran into my cuticles and was almost impossible to get cleaned up. I like the color, just be more careful than I was with application! It dries shiny. I used 2 coats with topcoat.

Here it is with Better Than Nectar (index), Wildflower Hour (middle), Matte topcoat (ring) and I did a jelly sandwich using OPI Serving Up Sparkle then a very thin coat of Bluebell again on top (pinky)…

- China Glaze Señora Flora – This is a peachy/orange cream. It dries matte! The first coat is streaky if you overwork the polish on the nail. It’s smooth if you can just lay down a coat and not go over it (I did this on my pinky and it was perfect). Don’t overload the brush with polish as it is a little on the runny side too. The second coat behaves much better. I got some bubbles from too thick of a coat and overworking it on the nail. I used 2 coats without topcoat.

- China Glaze Show ‘Em Who’s Blossom – This is a medium sage green creme. It applies smooth and even. Don’t overload the brush with polish it may run into the cuticles. It will dry shiny. I used 2 coats plus topcoat.

- China Glaze There She Rose Again – This is a sheer but buildable orchid pink jelly. The first coat applies sheer but even and smooth. Don’t overload the brush or it will run into the cuticles but this one is pretty easy to clean up if that happens (unlike Bluebell). Even with 2-3 coats you may still see some visible nail line. It dries shiny. I used 3 coats without topcoat.

- China Glaze This Is Ranunculus – I had to Google Ranunculus as I’d never heard of that flower before. It’s a rose looking flower with multiple paper thin petals. It’s very pretty! The polish is a blue gray (like a Wedgewood blue) base with gold and green or blue micro shimmer. This has alot of shimmer so you could get a streaky first coat. The second coat should even it all out though. This one dries to a satiny finish. I used 2 coats plus topcoat.

Here it is with Better Than Nectar (index) (love Better Than Nectar, it gives it a coppery look on this blue base), Wildflower Hour (middle), Matte topcoat (ring) and left glossy (pinky)…

- China Glaze What’s Up Bittercup – Now to represent the stems in all these flower arrangements. This is a bronze/copper shimmer. It has a smooth first coat. There were some brushstrokes but they seem to go away (to my eye) with the second coat and topcoat. This took on an olive green color in my naturally lit kitchen and under the lightbox.
