Hi everyone! Today I have the upcoming 4 piece Mythical Seas Collection from What Addiction? Polish to share with you! One thing I love about her collections is they are always just 4 polishes each, which is easy on the wallet if you want to get the whole thing! (And I think you may want this whole collection!) My collage below shows her inspiration picture (not mine) along with the bottle shots (mine) for this collection. I think she nailed it!
The Mythical Seas collection will debut on March 31, 2019 at 9am PDT (12pm EDT, 11am CDT, 10am MDT) at whataddiction.bigcartel.com. They will cost just $9 each or get all 4 for $32!

What Addiction? – Mythical Seas Collection // March 2019
What Addiction Atlantis – This is described by the maker as, “A blue with turquoise shimmer with ultra fine holo glitter and a variety of blue glitters”. As I was applying it a lot of descriptors came to mind: Azure blue, electric blue, Caribbean water blue. Any of those would fit in my opinion. There is also a brighter blue shimmer and a delicate holo micro glitter. I love it! The formula was great! It applies smooth and easy. There was no running or pooling into the cuticles, no streaking or balding. I added just 3 drops of nail polish thinner to my bottle but that is more of a personal preference and not anything wrong with her formula. For the swatches I used 2 coats plus one coat of glossy topcoat. I also added a coat of matte topcoat and love the velvety smoothness that brings!

What Addiction Nymph – This is described as, “A bright purple with a violet shimmer and a combo of purple & purple holo glitters”. I wrote it was a royal purple with lighter purple shimmer and delicate holo micro glitter. Another great formula! So smooth and easy to apply! No running or pooling or streaks. For the swatches I used 2 coats plus glossy topcoat. Then I added a matte topcoat to bring out the rich velvet look.

What Addiction Siren – This is described as, “An orangy pink with pink shimmer, ultra fine holo glitter and some fine red holo glitter”. I wrote that I saw it as a hot pink or fuchsia with pink and blue (purple?) shimmer. I’d also see flashes of the red micro glitter. Another excellent formula! This one could possibly be a one coater if you apply it carefully. I used 2 coats plus glossy topcoat. Then I added a coat of matte topcoat.

What Addiction Utopia – This is described as, “An orangy peachy with a green to gold shimmer and a combo of orange and orange holo glitter”. I wrote it was a tangerine orange with gold shimmer, sparkling orange micro glitter and micro holo glitter. Another excellent formula. It was even and smooth and easy to apply. No running or pooling, streaking or balding. I used 2 coats plus glossy topcoat. Then I added a coat of matte topcoat as well.

So that is the whole collection. What do you think? They all had great formulas. I did not just swatch these and remove them right away. I wore them anywhere from a few hours to overnight and I didn’t have any chipping or staining and they were easy to remove.
I cannot pick a favorite, I really love all four of these shimmery, underwater inspired polishes!
