Hi everyone! Today I have the new 6 piece neon collection from OPI to share with you. This collection consists of 6 neon cremes that dry to a semi matte / rubber type finish. I purchased this collection from PolishPick.com with a small blogger discount.

For all of my swatches I used the polish alone on all nails except my ring finger; I used a white creme base (Sally Hansen Crayola White 509). They all dry to a semi-matte or rubber type finish. They dried much more matte on my nail wheel swatches than on my nails. There was visible nail line (VNL) on all, the white undies helped alleviate that and also brightened up some of the colors. With other colors the white base made no difference. I will go into detail on that for each swatch. I used 2 or 3 coats (again, I will detail that with the swatch) and I did not use any topcoat on any of them. Let’s get started.
- OPI Dance Party ‘Teal Dawn – This is a medium green leaning teal. I feel like my photos are a bit too blue on my monitor. Don’t overwork the polish as you apply it or the streaking will be worse. If you can just paint it on with a few strokes you should not have streaking at all. The white undies on my ring nail make very little difference to the end color but it does help with VNL. It does make it just a touch brighter. Please excuse the sheet marks, I put this on late at night then went to bed. They were worse on my ring nail with undies so I did add a third coat to that nail only. Otherwise I used 2 coats without topcoat. A third coat would help with the VNL too.

- OPI Music Is My Muse – This is a caribbean water blue. It’s not as streaky as some, don’t overwork the polish and you will have a better outcome. The white undies on my ring nail does help brighten the color a lot and hide the VNL that you will find on the other nails. In person, VNL is not too bad with a third coat. I used 3 coats without topcoat.

- OPI Orange You A Rock Star? – This is much more coral than orange. It was just a little streaky on the first coat. Subsequent coats helped with the streaks. This was pretty sheer on the first coat. The white undies on my ring nail do help with VNL and brightening up the color. My photos seem much more fluorescent than I remember the polish was in real life. VNL was not bad in person with 3 coats. I used 3 coats and no topcoat.

- OPI Positive Vibes Only – This is a medium orchid purple. This one also didn’t seem very streaky. It also had better coverage than some of the other colors. There was not much VNL with this one and the white undies really made no difference to the end color. This was the messiest to apply. It did run into my cuticles some. Just be warned, this type of neon purple does have a bad habit of fading/changing color over time. Hopefully it will last a few years but you just never know. This was a hard one to photograph correctly, that is why it has the fewest photos. These photos are pretty true to color on my monitor. I used 2 coats without topcoat.

- OPI PUMP Up the Volume – This is a bright yellow with a touch of green. This was the streakiest of them all. The white undies do make this one much brighter and helps with the VNL. It was the streakiest on the ring nail but that may be my fault. I may have painted the color before the white base had a good chance to dry. I used 3 coats without topcoat on all nails.

- OPI V·I·Pink Passes – This is a princess pink. It wasn’t too streaky. The white undies really help to brighten the color and help with the VNL. I used 2 coats without topcoat on all nails.
