Hi everyone! I’m back with another skittle mani using A England polish. These are purple / purple gray. I broke two nails in the shower (!) the other day so I’m back to nubbins.
For this mani I used:
- Wuthering Heights (index) – (2 coats plus topcoat) I see this as a gray with a touch of purple and very subtle holo.
- Jane Morris (middle) – (2 coats plus topcoat) I see this as a medium charcoal gray with purple shimmer and subtle holo.
- Dancing With Nureyev (ring) – (2 coats plus topcoat) I see a lighter gray with a strong linear holo and purple shimmer.
- Lady of the Lake (pinky) – (2 coats plus topcoat) I see this as a darker grape with scattered holo.
These all have great formulas. I had some running into the cuticles but I think that was mostly due to the fact that I was used to painting longer nails and so I overloaded the brush and it ran.
I own 27 A England polishes. I’ve worn 11 (not including these 4). Mine were all bought between 2013-2015. If you want to check out my other blog posts featuring A England, click HERE.
Of these four, Dancing with Nureyev and Lady of the Lake are my favorites. I wish the purple shimmer showed better on the nail with Jane Morris. It’s so pretty in the bottle and gets lost on the nail.
