Alter Ego Nail Enamel

Hi everyone! I’m working my way through the A’s on my spreadsheet. I just counted and I have 16 brands that start with A (including those I’ve already done). I’m up to Alter Ego.

Alter Ego Polish: 5th Century Indian Nut, Crusader, Well Read, Forever In Amber, Spring Rain

I own 5 polishes from Alter Ego. Two were purchased just last year and the other three I received in either a grab bag or a VIP bag from The Indie Shops from 2018. I’ll show you two of them on my nails, but I’ll start with the other three.

Alter Ego Polish: Well Read, Forever In Amber, Spring Rain

I LOVE Well Read. It’s a coral holo with a touch of pink. Spring Rain is a turquoise shimmer and Forever In Amber is a butterscotch color. The last two are very nice colors but I can only see using them for jewelry so they will go into my jewelry making purgatory. I’m keeping Well Read and the next two that I will show you now.

Alter Ego Polish: 5th Century Indian Nut & Crusader

5th Century Indian Nut is from March 2020 PPU (Polish Pickup). This is a white base with small brown speckled glitter. It has a good formula for a white base and the glitter all come out easily. I love speckled polishes so this is a keeper for sure. I used 2 coats plus topcoat. (1 coat of topcoat was enough to smooth it).

Crusader is from the November 2020 PGB (Polished Gamers Box). This is a sparkly silver base with black micro glitter. On my ring nail I have 2 coats over 1 coat of 5th Century Indian Nut and on my pinky I have 2 coats alone. It’s not full coverage but it is so sparkly you usually don’t really notice the nail showing through. I used 1 coat of topcoat and they were all perfectly smooth.
