Hi everyone! Today I have my American Apparel collection to share. This brand has been discontinued. Do you own any?
I have 22 American Apparel polishes (plus 2 duplicates, so 24 total). I bought most of them in a big lot on Ebay back in 2013. According to my spreadsheet I’ve only worn 4 of them. None of them are on my blog so I must have worn those 4 before I started blogging.
American Apparel no longer sells nail polish so these are all discontinued. They are mostly all cremes or crellies. 3 of them are called “sheer” and are jellies. Most had a nice formula but a pretty skinny brush. I really like the black creme, Hassid. I use that a lot for “undies”. Of the 24 I own I’m going to keep 11. The ones I will be purging will have an asterisk before it’s name. I’m letting go of quite a few of these as I know I have similar colors in other brands.
I did a wheel swatch of the 18 colors I have (not including the black or the 3 sheers). The swatch photos go in alphabetical order along with the list. Starting at 12 o’clock with Berry. The 3 Sheers will be on their own swatch wheel at the bottom and I didn’t swatch the black creme, Hassid.

Hey Ananka! Yeah, they used to be sold in American Apparel stores, a clothing store. I think the stores may still be around (it’s online anyway) but no nail polish as far as I know. They do have nice colors!
