Hi everyone! Today’s brand on my journey through my stash is Arcane Lacquer. Do you own any of this brand?
I own 9 of this brand but had only worn 2 of them before today. (You can see those posts HERE.) I’d bought 6 of them in 2014 from llarowe.com and the other 3 in 2016 from Color4Nails.com. I like seeing how a brands’ bottle label evolves over the years. This was an Australian brand that unfortunately closed up in 2016.

As usual, I’m going to look closer at some of these. First up are the grays.
Here are:
- Circle Cycle & Seasons (2 coats on index) – I’ve worn this one before. It’s an unusual forest green color. . I like it!
- Dreary Days (2 coats on middle) – This has been SoCal lately, so dreary outside! I love the blue glitter in the gray base on this one!
- Undertow (2 coats on ring) – The glitter gets a little lost in the base color on this one. You can see it, but it’s not as pretty as the bottle.
- Vast & Vague (3 coats on pinky) – I like this much more on the nail than I thought I would. It has such a pretty shimmer.

Now to look at the purples.
Here are:
- Colour of Panic (3 coats on index) – I love the color combo here! I may have similar polishes to this one, I’ll have to see.
- Ineffable (2 coats on middle) – I love the gray/purple base! I’m torn on this one. Should I keep it or purge?
- The Power The Passion (2 coats on ring) – This is so saturated! One coat is plenty. I love this one, it’s my favorite one I own from this brand.
- Voice of Contention (2 coats on pinky) – I like this pretty holographic but I’m not blown away by it.

With a matte topcoat…
So I’ve decided to purge Undertow (gray ring nail), Vast & Vague (gray pinky nail), Ineffable (purple middle nail) and Voice of Contention (purple pinky nail). There’s nothing wrong with any of these, I just can’t see reaching for them again.
