Hi everyone! Today I have my Avon nail polish collection to share with you. I’m almost done with the “A” brands, just a couple to go!

I own 23 total Avon polishes. I had not worn any of them! They were all bought between 2012-2014. I’m going to break them up into smaller sub-sections for this post.
I’ll start with the Avon Cosmic Nail Enamel Collection. There were 10 of these in that collection and I bought them all in May 2013 from the Avon website. These are subtle holos and quite fashion forward for a specialty brand back then. I probably have dupes to some of these but for now I will keep the collection together and keep them all.
Avon Cosmic Nail Enamel Collection:
Aurora
Celestial
Eclipse
Galaxy
Moonbeam
Radiant
Saturn
Starburst
Starlight
Super Nova

I wanted to take a closer look at a few of these, so I put Celestial (pale sage green), Moonbeam (champagne silver), Radiant (soft gold) and Starlight (chartreuse) from index to pinky. 2 coats of each. I just used my regular basecoat and didn’t have any dragging or balding like you sometimes would with holos back then.

Next up I have the Avon Nailwear Pro (6) and Avon Suede Nail Enamels (2). The 6 Nailwear Pro’s were bought in 2012 and the 2 Suede’s were bought in 2013 second hand.
Avon Nailwear Pro:
Blue Shock
Gunmetal
Night Violet
Ruby Slipper
Splendid Blue
Violetta Sparkle
Avon Suede Nail Enamel:
Blue Royal
Touch of Taupe

I took a closer look at Blue Shock, Gunmetal and both Suede’s Blue Royal and Touch of Taupe. 2 coats of each index to pinky.

Then I flipped them and added matte topcoat to the first 2 and a glossy topcoat to the last 2…

I am going to purge some of these. I’m letting go of Gunmetal and both suede’s. I really like the suede’s both matte and glossy but I feel like I may have some OPI’s that are similar.
Last up is the Avon Glitter Nail Enamel (3 – bought second hand in 2013), Avon Nailwear (1 – bought in 2014 from ebay) and Avon Nail Experts (1 – bought in 2014 second hand).
Avon Glitter Nail Enamel:
Sparkling Plum
Sparkling Red
Sparkling Sky
Avon Nailwear:
Midnight Plum
Avon Nail Experts:
Gold Strength
My bottle of Sparkling Plum has definitely changed color. What should be a deep purple looks to be almost rose gold. Gold Strength is a very fine gold shimmer topper.

I am going to purge all of these except the gold shimmer topper.
One last look at the whole collection…

Well, there we have it!

These are nice ones. I have soooo many Avon polishes…about 2.5 Helmer drawers worth. I have some oldies I picked up from eBay and a girl I used to work with gave me some too.

That’s a lot of Avon polishes! I like them because there are some unique ones, they’re not all boring cremes!

Those holos are actually quite pretty, a little reminiscent of a-england because they are so soft and delicate!
