Hi everyone! I’ve been MIA for almost a week. Saturday I went to The Indie Shop in Torrance, CA. I think I’m still recuperating from that! I had such fun, got to meet a friend from MUA, and bought too many polishes. A post about all that will be coming up one of these days.
This manicure I’m sharing today was actually from last Thursday. I HAD to share it, even though it’s late, since it has jumped into my top polishes for 2017! I bought this one at PolishMarket.ru. It is a special LE Anna Gorelova did with Dance Legend for her 5th blog anniversary. Only 1,000 bottles are being made, so hurry and order it if you like it!
I have to give a shout out to my friend Kate from Some Weird Sin. She originally posted about it on MUA and I ran and ordered it right away. This was my second order from Polish Market and both have come quite fast from Russia (about 3 weeks total from ordering to having it delivered), and arrived in perfect condition. I’ve had to sign for both of the packages, but others from MUA have not, so maybe it depends on your local Post Office.
Hi everyone! It was brought up on a Facebook group I’m in that the newish Sinful Colors Stoned Crystal Shimmers collection may be close to the Dance Legend Mist Way colors and Illamasqua Raindrops & Pink Raindrops. Well, I have a few of the Mist Way colors and both of the Illamasqua’s, so I thought I would do a comparison and give my thoughts on these polishes.
Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is a pretty combo featuring a Sinful Colors polish from the newish collection called Stoned Crystal Shimmer and a nail polish from Anna Gorelova by Dance Legend from her Winter 2016 collection.
Hi everyone! Today I have another oldie as my manicure. This comes to us from Russia where Russian blogger Anna Gorelova teamed up with Dance Legend to create truly spectacular polishes. She continues to have collections, but they are harder to find here in North America. You can get them direct from Dance Legend, or a new to me Russian stockist Polish Market has some also. I just placed my first order with PolishMarket.ru a few weeks ago and it went perfect. Shipping is very reasonable and quick to the US. I paid $6.66 USD in shipping for 6 polishes and a magnet and from the day I ordered until it was delivered was 16 days (not just business days). Sorry I went off on a tangent there, but I would recommend taking a look around Polish Market if you want some Russian brand nail polish. I am not affiliated with either Dance Legend or Polish Market.
Hi everyone! Today’s manicure has an extra special polish in it. I never thought I would own OPI Jasper Jade, but an awesome member of MUA just found this at Winners (now, what a 20 year old OPI was doing at a Winners I don’t know) and she posted about it but mentioned that is was really thick and she didn’t know if she could revive it or not. She said she could return it if she couldn’t get it to work and I posted NO! please send it to me before you return it!! So that’s how I came to own this beautiful old polish!
Hey everyone! Today I have one of my favorite thermal polishes to share with you. I like wearing thermal polishes in the winter and when my nails are a little bit longer. I get a funky french look as my body temperature is much warmer than the air around me and if you have some free edge to your nail the funky french is almost always present. You may not get the same effect in a thermal polish if you wear it when it’s warm outside as the air temperature is the same or more than your body temperature so then you have to force the change with water and the look will not stay. Also if you don’t have any free edge to your nail, you may not be happy as you won’t really see any change either.
