Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is a brand new polish from KBShimmer, Hard To Empress. I think this is an add-on to the new Wanderlust Collection. This was just released last Friday, which was when I ordered it. If you don’t want to wait around for your nail mail, order from KBShimmer! They are on top of their game! I ordered on Friday and the polish was delivered on Monday. Can’t beat that shipping!! You can find KBShimmer HERE. I am not affiliated.
Hi everyone! Today I have a real quick comparison post of some Unicorn Pee toppers. Unicorn Pee is a hard to find pigment that shifts red to green to gold. The original pigment has been discontinued so it is getting harder to find.
Ethereal Lacquer just reopened her store in the last week or two after quite a few years and the first polish she brought back was Worlds Apart. I guess this was a fan favorite but I was not that familiar with Ethereal Lacquer back in the day so I don’t have an original bottle to compare for you, but I do have a lot of other Unicorn Pee toppers and polishes. The maker of Ethereal has said she used double the amount of original UP in this 2018 batch so the base color is quite a bit more sheer than it was. I just got my Worlds Apart in the mail today and wanted to share with you what it’s like.
Today I will show you a comparison with the original Max Factor Fantasy Fire from 2011, Girly Bits Shift Happens both the original from 2012 and the re-release from 2017, and the new release of Ethereal Lacquer Worlds Apart 2018. I have these both over a black base and a purple base.
At the bottom of the post, I also have a comparison of Tonic Curio, KBShimmer Let’s Slang, Ethereal Lacquer Worlds Apart, Tonic Serendipity, and KBShimmer So Jelly all on their own.
I have quite a few pictures today.

Hi everyone! Happy St. Patrick’s Day! For today’s manicure I am wearing an oldie but goodie. This polish was from KBShimmer’s Spring 2013 collection. I’ve had the polish that long and this is the first time I’m wearing it. I can’t believe I’ve had this so long and I don’t know what I was waiting for! Look at the bottle shot below. Look how well the glitter in this polish is still suspended; no sinking or bleeding with this one!!
Unfortunately this has been retired, but check out KBShimmer’s new look and website HERE. She has just rebranded with a new logo, but I’m sure it’s still the same excellent product and service! I am not affiliated, just a long time fan!
Hey everyone! In my last post I had on a nice, easy creme polish from NCLA. (You can see that one HERE) I did actually wear it as a plain creme for two days then I had to add to it! Here is the journey this manicure has taken.

Hi everyone! Last weekend was The Indie Shop in Torrance, CA. This was my first time going to one of these nail polish conventions, but they are popping up all over the country and even in Canada and Australia too! There are a few different conventions happening; The Indie Shop, Polish Con, Indie Expo Canada, and Aussie Indie Con.
The next one in the US that I’m aware of is another from The Indie Shop. This time it will be on July 29, 2017 in the San Francisco Bay area. If you are in the Toronto, Canada area, Indie Expo Canada is June 3-4, 2017 and Australia’s Aussie Indie Con is on June 17, 2017 (I wish I could go to that one!!) I do not know if tickets are still available to either of those international ones, but The Indie Shop’s Bay Area has not gone on sale yet.
So, continue reading to see pictures and my haul from The Indie Shop last weekend.
