Hi everyone! Once a month 8 bloggers (including myself) from around the world get together to do a blog post around a theme. This month’s theme is the weather. Here in the US we have a saying “April showers bring May flowers”. We usually don’t get a lot of rain in Southern California but this year it has been a crazy amount so far.
Hi everyone! So I joined Pinterest about three years ago and at that time I went and made a separate Pinterest board for every brand of polish that I own. When I do a blog post about a polish I add a photo to that brands’ Pinterest board. Here I am three years later and some of my brand boards are still empty, meaning I have not used a polish from that brand!! So I am starting a personal Pinterest challenge. Every now and then I will scroll through my Pinterest boards looking for an empty board and that will be the brand I use that day.
Today’s manicure comes from one of those brands. If you’d like to check out my Pinterest boards, click HERE.
Hi everyone! Today I am veering away from polish for a minute to show you a wax melt that is coming up in the April 2019 Indie Pickup. If you are not familiar with Indie Pickup it is an offshoot of Polish Pickup. Polish Pickup is nail polish of course and Indie Pickup is everything else that is made by indie vendors: jewelry, wax melts, soap, magnets, crocheted items, oils, makeup, etc. They both open the first weekend (Friday-Monday) of each month at polishpickup.com. You can read all about it in the FAQ section of the website HERE.
The shop is now open for preview and wish-listing! Click HERE to go right to this item to add to your wishlist! This was sent to me to photograph and give an honest review.
Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is from Don Deeva. I’ve had this for a couple of months now and finally got a chance to wear it! It’s a hard one to photograph, my pictures don’t do it justice! I think the flash photos show off what it looks like to me but I like it much better in person than my photos are showing off.
You can find the Don Deeva HERE. I am not affiliated.
Hi everyone! Today I have another ‘new to me’ and brand new indie brand, Atomic Nail Polish! She just opened up shop last month and I bought a couple of her polishes to try. How many of you are knowledgeable about the periodic table? Science was not my strong suit, but I did enjoy this nail polish! If you love science, or not!, I think you will love this new brand!
If you want to check out her Etsy store click HERE. (If you’re googling to find her be careful because there is also an “Atomic Polish” on Etsy but this one is “Atomic Nail Polish”!)
Hi everyone! Guess what time it is? It’s time for a new Zodiac polish from Geekish Glitter Lacquer! Every month Lexi brings us a new polish inspired by the zodiac sign and the month of Aries has just begun. With Aries comes the Fire element, so the glow in the dark topper, Fire will be available also! These two will only be available during the month of Aries which started on March 20 and will go until April 21.
You can check out Geekish Glitter Lacquer at her website HERE. This was sent to me to swatch and give an honest review.
Hi everyone! Today I have the upcoming 4 piece Mythical Seas Collection from What Addiction? Polish to share with you! One thing I love about her collections is they are always just 4 polishes each, which is easy on the wallet if you want to get the whole thing! (And I think you may want this whole collection!) My collage below shows her inspiration picture (not mine) along with the bottle shots (mine) for this collection. I think she nailed it!
The Mythical Seas collection will debut on March 31, 2019 at 9am PDT (12pm EDT, 11am CDT, 10am MDT) at whataddiction.bigcartel.com. They will cost just $9 each or get all 4 for $32!
Hi everyone! Today I have the 2019 6 piece Soft Shade collection from OPI called Always Bare For You. Four of them are sheer jelly formulas, one is a frosty nude and one is a shimmery number that can be worn alone or layered over these colors or anything else you already have! I bought this collection from PolishPick.com with a small blogger discount.
Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is a stunner from The Lady Varnishes. This is another ‘new to me’ brand I picked up from Polish Pickup. This one was from February 2019 and the theme was Famous Duos. This polish was inspired by the Sky and Sea. If you want to see what else The Lady Varnishes has to offer, check out her Etsy store HERE. I am not affiliated.
Hey everyone! Today I have an older polish to share with you. I only just bought this from a destash a week ago and I really don’t know too much about it. I have just a few of these older style Urban Decay bottles and there is not a lot on the internet about them.
