Well, it’s Monday! Another new week and the first full day of summer! Today I have a couple of oldies but goodies. The good news is, you can probably still find both of these polishes today if you’re so inclined.
Today I have another new mani to share with you. This one features Deborah Lippmann Million Dollar Mermaid which is a peachy orange base with tons of golden shimmer and small orange metallic glitter and Nabi Hologram in Brone. (That’s what it says as the color name.) It’s a rusty orange subtle holographic polish. I am quite matchy matchy when I do accent nails usually. So the Nabi just about perfectly matches the metallic glitter in the Deborah Lippmann.
I think this turned out great! I love it!
Yesterday I showed you textured polishes by Dance Legend Sahara Crystal in #16 Amethyst & #51 Platinum without topcoat. Many of you don’t like the feeling of textured polish. It sometimes takes a lot of topcoat to smooth them out, but one trick you can use is to put 1 coat of a matte topcoat and let it dry. After it is dry, go over with your shiny topcoat. I thought the matte topcoat may dull the super sparkle you get, but it doesn’t at all! In the photos I have 2 coats of Gelous and one coat of my trusty quick dry topcoat. On my right hand I put 1 coat WnW Matte topcoat on my thumb, let it dry, then a coat of my trusty topcoat and it is as smooth as my left hand. (Sorry I don’t have photos of my right hand though).
Topcoat really sets these polishes on fire! The sparkle is out of this world!
Today I have a pretty pic heavy post to get to. I used Dance Legend Sahara Crystal polishes in #16 Amethyst and #51 Platinum for an accent. I also have a quick comp of #16 Amethyst and Zoya Carter further down the post.
Happy Wednesday everyone! Today I have a polish from a brand I’ve only ever seen in Canada called Billie Cosmetics. They used to be made in the USA, but I see this one was made in China. The only place *I* know of to find these is Dollar Tree in Canada. They are $1.25 (I think) and well worth that price! China Glaze Can I Get An Untz Untz? is from the 2015 Summer Collection Electric Nights.
Just a quick update to yesterday’s gorgeous mani. Today I added a coat of Wet N Wild Matte Top Coat to yesterday’s mani of Dance Legend Fresh 77, Essie Shine of the Times, & Orly Green Flakie Topcoat. It’s still very overcast today. The perfect backdrop to taking gorgeous flakie pictures.
Hey everyone! Today I have a gorgeous flakie mani to share with you all. I can’t stop looking at my nails. I hope my pictures show the true beauty that makes up this mani!!
Hey everyone! Today I’m wearing one of the Essie Cashmere Matte polishes called Just Stitched. I’ve read horrible things about the formula on this one, but I had no problems at all!! I started with a base of at home soak off gel. I didn’t use any other basecoat because this gel makes my nails so smooth – I love it!! Then I did 2 coats of Just Stitched followed by 1 coat of my quick dry top coat. After a few minutes I added one more coat of Just Stitched and took some pictures. I did use some cuticle oil before the pictures which caused the matte polish to go kind of satiny. After taking a few photos I then added my shiny topcoat again because I prefer this polish shiny. It really brings out the shimmer (which I love!).
Hi everyone! So I have a problem. It’s a purple problem. And a holo problem. Put them both together and I can’t contain myself! One day, when all my swatch sticks are done, I will post all the purple holos I own. I don’t even know the number myself, but there are a lot of them!!
Hey everyone! Today I have a polish from a new OPI collection to share with you! Visions Of Georgia Green from the new OPI Coca Cola 2015 Collection. I found this at Trade Secrets in Canada and they had OPI buy 2 get 1 free so I really had to get them, right??!! I got this one and Centennial Celebration which I will be sharing in the next few days. I think all the rest of this collection are re-promotes, so I didn’t get any of them.
