Hi everyone! It’s with a heavy heart and tears in my eyes that I’m writing this post. We had to send my old man Chico to the Rainbow Bridge yesterday. I knew he had terminal cancer, I knew he only had about 3 months to live starting 3 months ago, so I knew it was coming but it’s still so hard. For the last 12 years we were best buddies, inseparable, he always being my shadow. I know he’s better off, pain free, running and playing with his big sister Pepper at the bridge waiting there for me. RIP Chico ♥♥

Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is a new to me brand, Turtle Tootsie Polishes. This came in the last Seasonal Indie Box which was also a new purchase for me. The Seasonal Indie Box is a quarterly box issued for each season. There are three constant brands included and a guest maker for each box. The Fall box had Turtle Tootsie, Anchor & Heart and Colores de Carol (the three constant brands) and the guest maker was Tonic. I’ll be honest and say I bought this box for the Tonic Polish, as all three of the other brands were new to me. I was very pleasantly surprised once I received it though! I was very happy I got it, all four of the polishes look beautiful and I can’t wait to try them out and see what else they have to offer!
Unfortunately this Fall box is no longer available. Follow the makers on Facebook or Instagram to find out when the next box comes out. I am not affiliated with the Seasonal Indie Box nor any of the brands included.
Hi everyone! So many prayers going to the state of Florida with Irma baring down towards them! Today’s manicure comes to us from Emily de Molly. She’s from Australia, but does have a US webstore and this beauty is still available there! This polish was from her February 2016 release. I am not affiliated with Emily de Molly.
Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is another beauty from Blackheart Beauty. You can find these at Hot Topic stores. They are really reasonably priced at just $5 and when I was there they were buy 1 get 1 free! I bought six of them the other day and am really happy with them so far! I am not affiliated with Blackheart Beauty or Hot Topic.
This one reminds me of something but I cannot place it in my mind. If you have any idea of what this is similar too, let me know in the comments! **Edit to add: I think I was thinking of Cult Nails Masquerade. It looks very close to that! Thanks to ariix of Vegan Claws for mentioning it on MUA!!**
Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is a polish released earlier this year from Scofflaw Varnish. It came out in February of 2017 in a Winter 2017 collection.
I really love all the polishes I’ve tried from this brand. I just bought a bunch of them for a great deal on a Facebook sale page and this was one of them.
You can find the Scofflaw web store HERE. You’ll need to sign up for the newsletter to see when the shop will open again. She usually just opens for a short time then closes back up until the next time.
Hi everyone! I’ve been MIA for almost a week. Saturday I went to The Indie Shop in Torrance, CA. I think I’m still recuperating from that! I had such fun, got to meet a friend from MUA, and bought too many polishes. A post about all that will be coming up one of these days.
This manicure I’m sharing today was actually from last Thursday. I HAD to share it, even though it’s late, since it has jumped into my top polishes for 2017! I bought this one at PolishMarket.ru. It is a special LE Anna Gorelova did with Dance Legend for her 5th blog anniversary. Only 1,000 bottles are being made, so hurry and order it if you like it!
I have to give a shout out to my friend Kate from Some Weird Sin. She originally posted about it on MUA and I ran and ordered it right away. This was my second order from Polish Market and both have come quite fast from Russia (about 3 weeks total from ordering to having it delivered), and arrived in perfect condition. I’ve had to sign for both of the packages, but others from MUA have not, so maybe it depends on your local Post Office.
This post has a lot of photos today!

Hey everyone! Today’s manicure is a nice combo with both polishes coming from Milani. These are older Milani polishes. They have since changed their bottle style.

Hi everyone! For today’s “Throwback Thursday” mani I have on an old, old OPI. I googled to see when this nail polish was released and it looks like it’s from the 1998 Painted Desert Collection. I found an awesome reference online for finding when a nail polish color was released. I have no affiliation with this Collection List from The Polish Garden, but it has many brands and is a great help in finding years and collections!

Hi everyone! Today’s manicure uses a couple of nail polish’s from Ulta. I think with the excessive heat we’ve been having I’m wishing a little bit for fall and used a couple of fall inspired colors.
Hi everyone! I’m not too familiar with this brand I chose to wear for my manicure today. I bought it at a random beauty supply store a few years ago (for only $1!!). This is a really beautiful nail polish for only $1! This post is quite pic heavy.
