Hi everyone! Today’s mani is from the last Polish Pickup earlier this month. If you’re not familiar with Polish Pickup, it’s a group of indie makers coming together around a central theme each month to offer exclusive items for one weekend. That is the condensed version, you can read all about how it works HERE. You can find a lot of variety too: polishes, wax melts, lotions and oils, jewelry, stamping plates plus more! Every month has different things. Get ready for a new sale weekend too, this weekend (May 4-7, 2018) the website will be open and the theme will be The 90’s!
A great thing about Polish Pickup is you get charged a flat fee of $3 shipping within the US ($5 to Canada) no matter how many polishes you buy or how many orders you make throughout the weekend it’s open! If you place multiple orders, you will be refunded excess shipping charges later in the month when shipping starts.
April’s theme was ‘Across the Universe: Planets & Galaxies’. I bought quite a few from April and this Contrary was the first one I chose to wear. If you like this from Contrary Polish, you can find her other polishes HERE. I am not affiliated with Polish Pickup or Contrary Polish.
Hi everyone! Today I have the first 6 polishes from the new/upcoming OPI Grease Collection to share with you! This is the 40th Anniversary of Grease the movie! I may or may not be old enough to have seen this in a theater when it first came out (I’ll never tell!) but I do still have the original vinyl album!
Grease is one of a handful of movies I would watch over and over. It’s been a long time now since I’ve seen it. I was really looking forward to this collection when I heard it was coming!
As I was painting my nails with some of these I got an ear worm of the song the polish related to, so that was a fun remembrance!
I bought this collection from Polishpick.com. They have good prices and reasonable (and quick!) shipping! Check them out HERE.
Check out the other 6 polishes in the Grease Collection Part 2 HERE!
You can check out the mini collection of Leather Like Effect polishes HERE.
Hey everyone! Today I have another ‘new to me brand’ to share with you! I purchased a couple polishes from Frozen Water Designs on Etsy and she included a few more polishes for me to swatch and review for you all! So I guess this is a purchase AND a press sample!
You can find Frozen Water Designs on Etsy HERE. I have linked you to her nail polish selection, but she has quite a few things for sale in her store; jewelry, soap, candles and more!
Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is one of the Girly Bits Colors of the Month for January 2018! Yes, this is still available!! Make sure to pick up the other Color of the Month, Blue Year’s Resolution. It is so gorgeous too!! They will only be available until February 1, so don’t wait! You can find these and so many more beautiful things on the Girly Bits website HERE. Hi everyone! I can’t believe I got a package delivery on a Sunday, but I did and it was the newest OPI Spring 2018 Lisbon Collection! I had to take some bottle shots for you all right away and I will be busy swatching these in the next couple days so stay tuned! I can’t wait!
Hi everyone! Today I’m going to show you bottle shots from the Bethesda Collaboration Box between two of my favorite newer indie makers. Both of these brands individually started at the end of 2017 and about a month ago they decided to come together to do a 4 piece collaboration box.
I have good news for you if you missed out; this box will be making a comeback next weekend, starting January 12, 2018!! These 4 polishes are not available individually, they will only come in this box. There will be 10 boxes ready to ship and then it will turn into a pre-order for the whole weekend. The cost is $40 + shipping and you will find it starting this Friday only on the Bees Knees Website HERE. You can also check out Geekish Glitter Lacquers website HERE. I am not affiliated with either brand. I purchased this box myself when it was for sale in December.
Hi everyone! Today I have another pretty polish from Cirque Colors to show you. This is from the recent Maison Collection. You can find this and many more things on her website HERE. I am not affiliated with Cirque Colors.
Hi everyone! Today’s manicure comes from a brand new Indie brand; not just new to me, but a new company! She just had her inaugural launch on October 13! You can find Geekish Glitter Lacquer HERE on Bigcartel. I am not affiliated.
ETA: I am not affiliated with this brand. I purchased this polish myself. The maker, Lexi, contacted me on Instagram asking if she could use my photo on her listing and I said yes.
Hi everyone! Today I have my swatches and review of the first 6 polishes in the new OPI XOXO Collection for Holiday 2017! You can see my sneak peek into this collection including bottle shots, swatch wheel photos and my first impressions HERE.
Hey everyone! In my last post I had on a nice, easy creme polish from NCLA. (You can see that one HERE) I did actually wear it as a plain creme for two days then I had to add to it! Here is the journey this manicure has taken.
