Hi everyone! For today’s manicure I added a gorgeous topper over my mani from yesterday! Here’s a quick look at it.
Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is a stunner from Bee’s Knees Lacquer. Green golds don’t always agree with my skin tone, but this olive based beauty is pure love! You can find this and all her other polishes HERE. I am not affiliated, just a big fan!
Hi everyone! Happy St. Patrick’s Day! For today’s manicure I am wearing an oldie but goodie. This polish was from KBShimmer’s Spring 2013 collection. I’ve had the polish that long and this is the first time I’m wearing it. I can’t believe I’ve had this so long and I don’t know what I was waiting for! Look at the bottle shot below. Look how well the glitter in this polish is still suspended; no sinking or bleeding with this one!!
Unfortunately this has been retired, but check out KBShimmer’s new look and website HERE. She has just rebranded with a new logo, but I’m sure it’s still the same excellent product and service! I am not affiliated, just a long time fan!
Hi everyone! Today’s manicure was an exclusive polish from the February 2018 Polish Pickup. If you are unfamiliar with Polish Pickup, it’s a website that brings a number of indie polish makers together to sell polish around a central theme each month. The webstore is only open the first Friday – Monday of each month and every polish that is for sale is exclusive to that month’s sale. This concept has really taken off and indie wax vendors, and cuticle care items have been added. There are usually over 70 individual items for sale so it’s hard sometimes to whittle down your wish list! You can read about the concept HERE. I am not affiliated with Polish Pickup or Peachtree Polish.
Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is from Great Lakes Lacquer. Unfortunately this was an exclusive polish from January’s Polish Pickup, so it’s no longer available. If you like this one, check out all the other gorgeous things on her website HERE.
If you are not familiar with Polish Pickup, it’s a way for a bunch of indie polish makers (plus wax makers, cuticle care makers and jewelry makers) to get together to do an exclusive polish (etc.) around a central theme, and have them up for sale for just a few days each month.
What I like about this concept is you can try different and ‘new to you’ brands (plus old favorites) and shipping is just $3 within the US no matter how many polishes you buy or how many orders you make within that 4 day period the shop is open. So the shop is open the first Friday through Monday of each month. If you place 4 orders in that time frame, you will only pay $3 shipping (once the extra shipping is refunded). If you buy 20 polishes within that weekend, shipping is still only $3 (and you are very lucky!!) 🙂
The Polish Pickup has really taken off and grew quickly. These days there are often over 60 unique offerings so it’s hard to whittle down your shopping list!! You can read all about Polish Pickup HERE and shop to your hearts desire March 2-5, 2018. That is the next opening weekend for the store. March’s theme is Books and the sneak peeks in the Facebook group look Gorgeous!! This is going to be an expensive month I’m afraid!
I am not affiliated with Great Lakes Lacquer or Polish Pickup.
Hi everyone! Today’s post was a manicure I wore about a week ago. I had to make an emergency trip out of town but I took some quick pictures before I removed this and left town. 1850 Artisan Polish is a relatively new brand. She just launched in January. This is the third polish I’ve worn from her and I am really impressed! You can find this and everything else she has to offer HERE. I am not affiliated.
Hey everyone! Today’s polish was made in honor of Bee’s Knees winning a couple of awards in the most recent IndieSwatch Awards. They won for Best New Brand and Best Blue Polish (for House On Haunted Chill). Congratulations Sarah on your win! Bee’s Knees will have a new collection coming out this Friday, February 9 and I think the extra from the prototype sale will be available too! If you like this one, check her website HERE on Friday! I am not affiliated with Bee’s Knees.
Hi everyone! Today I have the polish that Danette, the maker of Don Deeva, made for her birthday last year. What better day to wear this one than on her birthday this year! Danette, if you’re seeing this, I wish you all the very best on your birthday and every day!
Hi everyone! I saw on Facebook this morning that 1850 Artisan Polish was having a specially priced Valentine’s Day Duo with two of her polishes, Santa Monica Pier and Lovely. I don’t have Lovely yet, but I do have SMP and thought, “I wonder what that would look like layered over my bright pink Shleee Polish mani from yesterday?”.
So I tried it… and I love it! I am not affiliated with 1850 Artisan Polish or Shleee Polish.
Hi everyone! Today’s manicure comes from another ‘new to me’ brand. The brand has been around for a long time, I just never ordered from them before now. So I am learning how the brand works with restocks and it seems like she does a weekly release every Friday at 9am EST (which is 6am PST here in California). From what I’m gathering, she has a few new polishes each Friday and it’s kind of a one and done. However, if something sells out and there is enough interest in the polish returning there may be a 2.0 or 3.0 (etc.) version remade. I think there are little tweaks to the subsequent versions, but I’m not positive about that.
