Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is from Don Deeva. I love getting Deeva Nail Mail because I always throw in a couple of her Mystery Polishes when they are available and I love seeing what I get, they never disappoint! You can find the Don Deeva website HERE. I am not affiliated.
Hi everyone! I was so excited when Lexi from Geekish Glitter Lacquer contacted me asking if I could swatch and review her Summer 2018 Polish and the first two polishes from her new Zodiac Series!
You can find Geekish Glitter Lacquer HERE. These three polishes were sent to me to swatch and give an honest review. This is long with a lot of photos!
Hi everyone! Oh boy! I’m going to have a long post with a lot of photos today!
In 2008 China Glaze released the OMG Collection. There were 12 beautiful, linear holographic polishes in the collection. This June, for the 10 year anniversary, they have released an OMG Flashback Collection with 6 of the 12 polishes. Before it was released, there was speculation if they would be as great as the originals or if we’d be let down like with the Hologlam and Tronica “holographic” collections from a few years ago. I’m here to tell you (and show you) that this is not at all a let down! These 6 polishes are just as wonderful as the originals!! Way to go China Glaze! This is how a Flashback collection should be done!
Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is another ‘new to me’ brand. I had a couple others from Polish ‘M but this is the first one I have worn. I just received this polish in a Mystery Grab Bag for a great deal! You can get 5 full size polishes for just $25 with free shipping! You can’t beat that deal! Somehow there are still some of these available on her website too (as of my writing this post)! You can find Polish ‘M HERE. I am not affiliated.
Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is a gorgeous linear holographic polish from Colors by Llarowe. I got this one a little early from The Indie Shop last month but you can get it right now at Color4Nails.com. You HAVE to be quick though, it’s only on sale until tomorrow! HERE’s a direct link to the listing. I am not affiliated.
Hi everyone! Today I have a nice thermal polish from Geekish Glitter Lacquer to show you. This is the very first Facebook Group Custom Lexi made for her fan group, Geekish Glitter Lacquer Geeks. If you want to buy this polish you have to join the group to get a code to bring the price down to normal. You can find the Facebook group HERE and you can check out everything else she has in her shop HERE. If you do like this polish it’s only on sale for a limited time so hurry and check it out! I am not affiliated.
Hi everyone! May 19th was the latest Indie Shop event in Anaheim, CA. The theme this time was “TISneyland”. I went and had a great time! Nikki from 1850 Artisan Polish was there with her newest collection, Dreams Really Do Come True. I believe this collection will be available on her website on May 26. I picked up a couple polishes from this collection and this pretty pink thermal was my first choice to wear.
Nikki is just the sweetest person! You can find her shop HERE. It’s closed for right now, but should be back open soon! I am not affiliated. As always, I have a lot of photos today.
Hi everyone! Catrice Cosmetics is a brand from Europe that has not been available to those of us here in the USA, at least since swapping overseas has become so difficult. I have many Catrice polishes from back in the day that are so pretty and unusual.
Quite awhile ago I saw that Catrice Cosmetics had a US website for some of their makeup and I messaged them asking if they would ever bring any of their polish over and they said to keep watching. Quite a few months later I got an email that nail polish was available on their US website! I rushed right over to take a look (and place an order of course!). Mostly they have cremes available with one duochrome shimmer. They also have a few LE glitter polishes under the “Dazzle Bomb” then “Dazzle Nail Lacquer” headings under “Limited Editions”. These polishes are made in Luxembourg and are 10.5ml (ICONails) or France and they are 10ml (Dazzle Bomb).
So I picked out 6 polishes plus one of the Dazzle Glitters and a peel Off Basecoat to try out. You can find Catrice Cosmetics HERE for the US. I am not affiliated. Here are my picks.
Hi everyone! Today I have the new/upcoming 6 piece Pop Culture Collection from OPI. You all are going to think I’ve lost my mind when you see the photos below, but I am not hating this collection! Keep in mind you are seeing up close and expanded photos and they don’t look all that appealing, but in real life, at arm’s length, these do not look that bad. I actually really love a couple of them and at least one of them I would not wear again.
Now, I am a big fan of textured polishes. I have all the Zoya PixieDusts, OPI Liquid Sands, and a few from L’oreal among others. You do have to be a fan of gritty texture or just turn away now, these are not for you! In my opinion, these do not look good with topcoat and even worse with matte topcoat. They actually are not as bumpy and obnoxious if you layer one coat over a similar base color either. I will show you all of that below.
I bought these from PolishPick.com. You can find them HERE. I am not really affiliated, I do buy the polish from them but I am a choice in their drop down menu of where you heard about the company. I don’t get any perks if you do or don’t pick me, but please choose my name if you do make a purchase! I am not affiliated with OPI.
I do have a lot of photos today!
Hi everyone! Today I have a collection of 6 polishes from Finger Paints to share with you. Finger Paints are only found at Sally Beauty stores. I checked my store in the middle of April and this collection was not out yet, but I went again a couple days ago and a full, new collection was out on the shelves. Even better, the polishes were Buy 1 Get 1 50% off! You have to love a polish sale!
If you love contrasting shimmer like I do, this is the collection you have to see! I am not affiliated with Sally Beauty or Finger Paints.
