Hi everyone! I’ve been wearing this Ethereal Lacquer tri-thermal for a few days now. I really love it! This came in a mystery bag in December. I’ve gotten a couple of her mystery bags and have not been disappointed yet! January mystery bags are on sale now if you’re interested (January’s theme is “Celestial”). You receive four full size polishes around a theme for $30 plus shipping. It’s a great deal! You can find her website HERE. I am not affiliated.
Hi everyone! Today I’m doing a test to see if my oldest thermal polishes still transition. I see the question asked often, “How long do thermal polishes last before they die and stop transitioning?”. No one really knows the answer. There are some variables that will help them last longer, store in a cool dark place is the big one. Many brands will not mail thermals during the hottest months so they will not get burnt from the heat during transit.
So this collection of thermals is my oldest, let’s see if they still work!
Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is from the Polish Pickup last month. The theme was Musicals and this Chaotic Glitz polish was based on the animated movie Coco. I haven’t seen that movie, but if it comes on TV I will definitely watch it!
If you are unfamiliar with Polish Pickup, it’s a web store that opens the first weekend of each month (Friday-Monday) and there are about 70+ indie brands of polish, topcoat, etc available. These items are exclusive to that months Polish Pickup and they center on a theme that is also voted on by the customers. You can read all about it HERE. And yes, this coming weekend is the first weekend of the month so go to the website HERE and make an account and start building your wishlist for this month. The theme for September is Horror Movies! I already have 7 in my wishlist!
This was my first Chaotic Glitz polish. I love the skull label she used to go along with the movie she chose as her theme! I am not affiliated with Polish Pickup or Chaotic Glitz.

Hi everyone! Today I have another ‘new to me’ brand, Necessary Evil Polish. I bought my first one a couple months ago on Polish Pickup but they were at the Indie Shop last week and I grabbed a few more.
The Samurai’s collection was debuted at The Indie Shop and will be coming to her Etsy store soon, I don’t see it available just yet. You can find the shop HERE. I am not affiliated.
Hi everyone! May 19th was the latest Indie Shop event in Anaheim, CA. The theme this time was “TISneyland”. I went and had a great time! Nikki from 1850 Artisan Polish was there with her newest collection, Dreams Really Do Come True. I believe this collection will be available on her website on May 26. I picked up a couple polishes from this collection and this pretty pink thermal was my first choice to wear.
Nikki is just the sweetest person! You can find her shop HERE. It’s closed for right now, but should be back open soon! I am not affiliated. As always, I have a lot of photos today.
Hey everyone! Today’s manicure is a gorgeous thermal from The Don Deeva. You can find this and many more beautiful things HERE. This polish is a temperature changing thermal meaning you need hot and cold to make the colors switch. So fun! I have a lot of photos again today! I am not affiliated with The Don Deeva.
Hey everyone! Today I have one of my favorite thermal polishes to share with you. I like wearing thermal polishes in the winter and when my nails are a little bit longer. I get a funky french look as my body temperature is much warmer than the air around me and if you have some free edge to your nail the funky french is almost always present. You may not get the same effect in a thermal polish if you wear it when it’s warm outside as the air temperature is the same or more than your body temperature so then you have to force the change with water and the look will not stay. Also if you don’t have any free edge to your nail, you may not be happy as you won’t really see any change either.
