Wet n Wild – Scarlet Gold & Maya Cosmetics – Once In A Lullaby

Hi everyone! I’m doing another mani with older dc’d polishes today.

Wet n Wild Scarlet Gold is from the Rock Solid Line. I don’t know how old these polishes are, maybe from 2008-2009ish? I bought this from a blog sale a couple years ago. Scarlet gold is a shimmery orangy gold with soft white flakes. In some lights it almost looks caramel. It’s quite sheer, but 3 coats built up pretty well. Still some visible nail line, but I don’t mind that at all. I used 3 coats plus topcoat for the photos.

Maya Cosmetics was an awesome Indie line that went out of business in 2014. Once In A Lullaby is a clear base topper with multi colored matte glitter and sparkly shimmer and glitter bits. Formula was excellent. The brush is not loaded with base when you bring it out, so it flows onto the nail very easily. It doesn’t dry bumpy so just one coat of topcoat is needed. I used 2 easy coats plus topcoat on my accent finger for the photos.

Wet n Wild Scarlet Gold, 3 coats plus topcoat and Maya Cosmetics Once In A Lullaby, 2 coats plus topcoat.

It was so foggy and rainy all day today. I can’t wait until later in the month when I’ll get my lightbox, but for today I wandered around the condo looking for lighting possibilities. 🙂
