I’ve always wanted to see what a multichrome textured polish would look like so before I removed Essie Night Owl from yesterday’s post, I added just one coat of Tonic Peacock Parade. The Essie seemed extra textured so I thought it would be a good test for this. Keep reading to see how it turned out.
Hi everyone! Today I have the 6 piece Essie Concrete Glitter Collection to share with you. Essie says, “Conquer the late night scene with new concrete glitters. An Essie first – these six crushed crystal finish nail polishes provide the perfect textured, rocker chic look”.
That’s right, we have a 6 piece textured collection from Essie! I bought this collection from Ebay, they seemed to have the best price and I received them super fast!
I am not affiliated. This is a long post and I do have alot of photos today!!
Hi everyone! Today I have the new/upcoming 6 piece Pop Culture Collection from OPI. You all are going to think I’ve lost my mind when you see the photos below, but I am not hating this collection! Keep in mind you are seeing up close and expanded photos and they don’t look all that appealing, but in real life, at arm’s length, these do not look that bad. I actually really love a couple of them and at least one of them I would not wear again.
Now, I am a big fan of textured polishes. I have all the Zoya PixieDusts, OPI Liquid Sands, and a few from L’oreal among others. You do have to be a fan of gritty texture or just turn away now, these are not for you! In my opinion, these do not look good with topcoat and even worse with matte topcoat. They actually are not as bumpy and obnoxious if you layer one coat over a similar base color either. I will show you all of that below.
I bought these from PolishPick.com. You can find them HERE. I am not really affiliated, I do buy the polish from them but I am a choice in their drop down menu of where you heard about the company. I don’t get any perks if you do or don’t pick me, but please choose my name if you do make a purchase! I am not affiliated with OPI.
Hi everyone! I have a quick post today featuring my Zoya Bay manicure. This is a textured PixieDust from the Summer 2016 Seashell collection. It is still available on the Zoya website though! I am not affiliated with Zoya.
Hi everyone! Today’s manicure comes from the newish Kandee Johnson Collection from Sinful Colors. I have not been able to find these new Sinful Color polishes anywhere around me. I have searched the stores and nada. I wish Sinful Colors would more widely distribute the new collections to the stores they have listed on their website to buy them in. Of the big list of stores, I have 3 stores close to me and 2 more if I want to drive further away. And I can’t find the collections anywhere. I really wish Sinful Colors would just open an online store to be honest. Much easier to order online than drive to the store each week just to be disappointed. Ugh! I will step off my soap box now. 🙂
I found this while out of state recently and picked up a couple of the colors. They were very picked over in the Walgreens I finally found them at.
Hi everyone! I was finally able to get my hands on a few of new Zoya’s from the Enchanted Collection. Today’s manicure is a PixieDust. I thought Zoya was discontinuing their PixieDusts, but I guess not since they came out with four new ones in this collection! I’m happy, I really love them!
Hi everyone! Today I have a nail polish from the Spring/Summer 2013 Bond Girls Collection. This was a collection of textured nail polishes (OPI calls them Liquid Sand™) with names after iconic female characters in James Bond 007 movies. Hence what some may find to be an inappropriate name. I don’t name them, I just wear them! 🙂
Hi everyone! Today I have a vintage Lancome polish to share with you and the last day of my Zoya Tomoko accent nail, I promise! It’s held up so well I hated to take it off. I did add 2 coats of topcoat to it today though. I think today’s mani is the best combo yet!
