Hi everyone! Today I am going to be sharing with you a gel polish starter kit from Pink Gellac. This kit has everything you need to get started doing your own soak off gels in your own home. This system says the gel polish will last for 14 days!

I will say, I am pretty new to DIY gel polish. A couple years ago I played around with using just a gel polish base to paint my regular polish over. I have never done a color in gel polish before, so I am a good candidate to try this system. If I can do it, you can certainly do it too!
The starter kit they sent to me was LED L which is everything you will need to get started, including a gel polish in ‘Dynamic Pink’ plus three other gel colors you can choose yourself.

There is also a manual which is short and concise but thorough. It is very easy to read and understand.

Here are the 3 extra colors they sent to me. When you purchase this system, you get to choose 3 polishes from over 120 different colors and finishes to be included in your system!
One thing I love about this kit is everything is full size. The LED light is very nice. You can fit four fingers in at a time. It beeps after 30 seconds and automatically turns off after 60 seconds. There is no tacky layer to remove once you’re done curing either. You just cure and you are ready to go. I love that!
Well, I love a lot of things about this system! I love that it is so easy to use, I love the gel colors have a color dot on the lid so you can see what color you are choosing without picking up every bottle in the drawer, I love the wide variety of colors and finishes to choose from and I love the brush! It is wide and rounded and just perfect!
So I followed the instruction manual completely: I pushed back my cuticles, lightly filed the top of my nails, cleaned off my nails with one of the Cleaner Pockets, and brushed on the primer and let that air dry for a minute or two. I was careful to not touch my nails at all and then I did a thin coat of the base on 4 fingers and cured. This only needs to cure for 15 seconds so I just counted to 15 and manually turned off the light. Then I painted the first thin coat of color (I used the color everyone will get with the kit, “Dynamic Pink”) and cured that for 60 seconds. The light will automatically turn off at 60 seconds so that is easy to know when it’s done. I then painted a second thin coat of color and cured another 60 seconds. Then I added a thin coat of the Ultra Shine Topcoat and cured once again for 60 seconds. That was it; no tacky layer to remove, just shiny dry nails. Also, in case you forget how long one of the steps needs to cure, it’s printed right on the bottle label how many seconds to cure for either LED or UV light.
Then I repeated all those steps for my 2 thumbs, then repeated once again for my 4 remaining fingers. You don’t want to just do all your fingers at once, just do what you can fit into the lamp at one time. After about 15 minutes I had a complete gel manicure done in my own home!

The dynamic pink looks really nice, I’ve only tried gel since Christmas, & shall probably purchase a few main colours. That pink looks a lot nicer than I would have expected. Ty
