Hi everyone! Today’s magnetic manicure comes to us from Quixotic Polish. This brand is becoming a favorite of mine and this mani is going into my 2018 Favorite Manicures folder! I just love this one!

Cauldron Bubble was a LE Halloween 2018 polish. It was described online as, “Do your eyes deceive you? A plain green polish? With the shimmy of a magic (magnetic) wand you can activate a spooky effect and transform this seemingly plain polish.
Now we have a deep navy base sprinkled with blue Aurora shimmer and a flash of yellow lightning magnetic pull”. That’s a cute description and it describes it perfectly.
This has an excellent formula. I used two smooth, easy coats. I used my favorite Lantern & Wren thin arc magnet as my “magnetic wand”. I left my pinky nail un-magnetized so you can see this is very pretty without a magnet also! This dries so smooth and shiny I didn’t even use a topcoat. Today was day 3 and it is still in perfect condition too!
Remember, as with all magnetic polishes, you want to really shake it up before using it to mix all that magnetic pigment up. Then use your magnet after your last coat of polish, holding it in place for a count of at least 15 and repeat that after applying topcoat.

Magnetic polishes are so gorgeous and this one is no exception! I ordered my first two magnetic polishes in last month’s polish pickup and I’m super excited to play with them! Beautiful photos and great review.
