Hi everyone! I’m back with the next polish in the OPI Neo Pearl Infinite Shine collection. This is the third one I’m showing you, Olive For Pearls. You can see I’m A Natural HERE and You’re Full of Abalone HERE.
I’m showing all six polishes in this collection individually. I purchased these at PolishPick.com.

Olive For Pearls is a green to bronze shifting polish. It’s quite sheer on it’s own. I used 4 thin coats to build it up for these photos. It applied really easily. There are some brushstrokes but it’s not too bad. At the end of the post I will show this layered over other base colors.
This is quite an unusual color. Indoors you will mostly see a kind of bright, lime green but in lower light the shift to a bronzy peach happens at certain angles. I enjoyed wearing this one. I think I’ve had it on for almost a week now and it still looks great! Again these photos are 4 thin coats plus topcoat.

Here it is layered (1 coat of base with 1 coat of Olive For Pearls) over a black creme, a white creme, a sage green shimmer, a bronze shimmer, an olive green holographic and on it’s own at two coats.

My favorite looks were over black and over the bronze shimmer.
Ananka mentioned in the comments that this may be close to OPI Electric Eel. I just happen to have the old black label Electric Eel so I did a quick comparison. In the bottle Electric Eel is much brighter green and it’s even MORE sheer that Olive For Pearls! On their own they have some differences but over black they are almost exact dupes. Here are a couple quick photo collages. The first with an Ottlight and flash and the second in the lightbox.
Good eye Ananka!

Well, there we have it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
The polish in this post is from my own collection and was purchased by me.

Many thanks for your great review. I couldn’t be bothered to do 4 coats just to get some opacity, although it is a pretty colour. It looks interesting when used as a topper and I liked those effects.

Thank you Ruth! I also wouldn’t normally want to do 4 coats for a mani! It is pretty layered though.

You have a good eye Ananka! Over black they are almost exact! I added a couple comparison photos to the bottom of the post so you can see them.
