Hey everyone! I’m finally getting a few minutes to do my post today!
Today I have on Essie She’s Picture Perfect from the Spring 2012 Resort Collection. This is a cool toned dusty purple with pink shimmer. Formula is very good, a little thinner than I personally like, but manageable for sure! The shimmer doesn’t really show unless you are in bright light, but it adds a glow to the polish in normal indoors lighting. I used 2 coats plus topcoat for the photos.
I added accents with Revlon Holographic Pearls from this year’s Transforming Effects Collection. This collection became core and should be found in any store as of my writing this post. I put off buying this polish thinking that I had China Glaze Fairy Dust and this had to be similar. A couple of photos posted on the MUA Nail Board convinced me that I did actually need this polish if I could find a good deal on it. Last week I found this for just $1, so I had to get it, am I right??!!
Holographic Pearls is a holographic glitter which you can actually build to be opaque in 2-3 coats. There may still be a little visible nail line showing after 3 coats, but it is so blingy you wouldn’t even know it! I used 3 coats plus topcoat for the photos. (It’s also very smooth for all that glitter – only 1 coat of topcoat is needed)
