Hi everyone! Today I have the 6 piece OPI Metamorphosis Collection to show you. This is a collection of shimmer/glitter toppers. A few of them you could wear on their own if you want just a real ethereal look.

I have a lot of photos today (as usual!)
The Metamorphosis Collection consists of six polishes. For all the swatches below I’ve used a white base on my index, a black base on my middle, 2 coats on it’s own on my ring, and a coordinating color for each one on my pinky. (I’ll tell you that pinky base color below for each polish.) I did not use any topcoat for my swatches but it would be needed for a real manicure.
I think all of these have a clear base and multiple colors of shimmer in them. I will just state the most obvious colors I saw. Some of the bigger flakies/glitter do not come out very easily. What you see below is just what I got by brushing the toppers on, I did not fish or dab it into place for any of them. And lastly, the biggest glitter/flakies do not always lay flat so you may need two coats of topcoat to smooth them out.
As I said above, a few of these you could wear on their own if you want an ethereal look. They are very shiny so even though you can see your nail line it’s not really noticeable, if that makes sense. Alright, ready? Let’s go!
- Butterfly Me to the Moon. This is a blue and pink/purple shimmer with bright blue flakies and glitter. For the pinky finger I used a base of Sally Hansen Crayola Vivid Violet. This is an exact match to Zoya Saldana. I will add a couple photos of that comparison at the bottom of this post in a few days.

- Can’t Be Camouflaged. This is a green and gold shimmer with green flakies and glitter. For the pinky base I used Sally Hansen Insta Dri Jumpin’ Jade.

- Ecstatic Prismatic. This is a pink and green shimmer with green flakies and glitter. For the pinky base I used Sally Hansen Crayola Sea Green.

- Metamorphically Speaking. This is a green and gold shimmer and gold flakies and glitter. For the pinky base I used Sally Hansen Insta Dri Lickety-Split Lime.

- This Changes Everything! This is a gold shimmer with flashes of blue or purple and gold flakies and glitter. For the pinky base I used Sally Hansen Insta Dri Coco-A-Go-Go. This was my favorite over the white base and my least favorite all on it’s own. Over black this looks very colorful in my photos. I really didn’t notice all those colors in real life, just mainly the gold shimmer showed (at least indoors).

- You Little Shade Shifter. This is a blue, silver and a touch of gold shimmer with bright blue flakies and glitter. For the pinky base I used Sally Hansen Crayola Cerulean.
