Hi everyone! Continuing on with my journey through my stash I have Amy’s Nail Boutique. This is another oldie Indie polish maker who seems to not be in business anymore. Do you own any of this brand?
I don’t know much about this brand. I own 2 of them and they were both bought from a destash back in 2012. It looks like she opened on Etsy in 2012 but there has been no new reviews on her Etsy page since 2014 and no new posts on her Facebook page since 2013 so I’m guessing she is not doing polish anymore.
I own:
- One Sweet World – This is a clear base with neon yellow, blue and pink matte micro glitter.
- Roxy – This is a clear base with small red and purple hex glitters.
I like these small glitters in a clear base so I will keep both of these, for now anyway, while I continue on my journey to see if I have any dupes. The formulas were both really nice. The glitter all came out and spread out easily. The glitter had sunk in both bottles but they shake up and mix back up perfectly. I like both of these a lot!
Both nail swatches show one coat of each glitter topper over a white with blue shimmer (Tonic Blue Moon) and a plain black creme (American Apparel Hassid).
Here are the bottles with the sunken glitter. There’s a lot of glitter in each of these so this doesn’t look too bad…
Inside with flash. This first photo shows my swatch rings I use. I just painted them today. It looks like maybe the base for One Sweet World may have discolored a little bit. I still like it and it’s not as noticeable on my actual nail swatches…
