Hey everyone! Today’s manicure is a nice combo with both polishes coming from Milani. These are older Milani polishes. They have since changed their bottle style.
Milani Chocolate Sprinkles is a dark chocolate with golden bronze sparks. As I was cropping my photos it actually appears to have a few other color sparks in there as well, but the golden bronze is mostly what you notice. This had a great formula and I loved the brush! I used two coats plus topcoat today.
Then I added just one coat of Milani Sugar Rim as an accent on my ring finger. Sugar Rim is a clear based glitter topper with micro matte glitter in black, gold and bronze, some small cornflower blue matte glitter for a pop of color, and various sized reflective silver flakes. It’s a really fun combo of colors and I think it really looks good over this chocolate brown base. This one will not really build up to be opaque on it’s own, it’s best for layering. Formula was great but it does dry to be a bit textured. If you want this to be smooth you would need at least 2 coats of topcoat. I actually just left it without any topcoat and really like it.
Milani Chocolate Sprinkles, 2 coats plus topcoat with Milani Sugar Rim, 1 coat with no additional topcoat as an accent. I’ve had this on for 24 hours before taking the photos so please excuse the tip wear.
