Hi everyone! Today’s manicure was an exclusive polish from the February 2018 Polish Pickup. If you are unfamiliar with Polish Pickup, it’s a website that brings a number of indie polish makers together to sell polish around a central theme each month. The webstore is only open the first Friday – Monday of each month and every polish that is for sale is exclusive to that month’s sale. This concept has really taken off and indie wax vendors, and cuticle care items have been added. There are usually over 70 individual items for sale so it’s hard sometimes to whittle down your wish list! You can read about the concept HERE. This is my very first Peachtree Polish and I was so lucky to have gotten this one! It was extremely limited and by the time I talked myself into getting it, it was showing as sold out. I was just browsing the website and I saw that it popped back into stock and I pounced on it and was able to get one! When I received it, it came with an Andes Mint Candy but there are no photos of that as I ate it immediately! 🙂
February’s theme for Polish Pickup was “Sugar Rush” (hence the Andes Candy). Choc-o-mint was described as, “a dark brown shimmer polish with micro green flakies and micro holographic green glitters”. I love the green glitter in this one! They sparkle like crazy in the dark brown base! Formula was excellent. It has a nice size brush and applies easily. I used two coats plus topcoat.
I’ve actually had this on for almost a week! I took my pictures on March 6 and it still looks just as good today, March 11! I have a little tipwear but not a single chip! One more thing that is so great about the Polish Pickup is it has a flat shipping charge of just $3 to the USA. No matter how many polishes you buy or how many orders you make during the weekend that it’s open, once they combine the orders and refund shipping you will only pay $3!! And it’s a flat rate of only $5 to Canada. As someone who used to live in Canada, that is an amazing shipping value!
